Which area do you go if you want the best Salvadoran food? To the Pupus Area! Obviously.
This is a really friendly place with good pupusas and good tamales. Excellent Central American food from El Salvador and Honduras and Nicaragua. Definitely delicious and well worth a stop if you love this kind of food as I do and extremely cheap as well.
It's a lovely little central american place representing all the countries but especially El Salvador, in fact it's decorated like the Salvadoran flag and stuff. Very friendly, very cute, decor is second to none, and the wet chicken tamale is much better than Mexican equivalents. Try it and see. -

Really nice service and affordable tasty food.
+My favorite thing of all was the black beans in the plantain with crema on top, the man at the register told me it is called a canoe in some places. Never had anything like this before it was so flavorful and filling! Get this!
+Also really enjoyed the tamale, thought it was a step above most - really fresh.
+The 'tacos' are deep fried and almost tasted like a central american eggroll! The accompanying salad was really refreshing paired with the heavy meal.
+Last but not least- the pupusas! I liked mine fine, but it was the other items I ordered that were most memorable. In my chicken pupusa, I wish I ordered cheese too which would have made it even better. -

Mediocre servicio, horrible service . Food is okay but there isn't even words for how bad the service is .

Service is great. Polite and clean environment. I have returned here 3 times now & I will continue coming here. Delicious pupusas, curtido & salsa! Maybe next time I will try something different. I didn't care too much for the Salvadoran horchata (mainly bc of the texture). I prefer the Mexican horchata which is more milky and less grainy. After leaving my family in another state, finding a little piece of home has made me so happy.

This is our best restaurant we visit at less three times a week. The best home made plates, clean, great service and very friendly. Especially Ans and Paty, the waitress.
